Yonkers Public Library is proud to celebrate the completion of the full repaving of the Will Library parking lot!
The lot had not been fully repaved since Will Library opened in 1962—making this a long-overdue and important investment in safety, accessibility, and our community.
The project included new curb cuts and regraded surfaces to make the library easier to access for patrons with disabilities and mobility challenges.
The $200,000 New York State Local Community Assistance Program (LoCAP) grant, secured with the support of State Senator Shelley Mayer, helped fund the project, with the City of Yonkers covering the remaining costs.
