St. John’s Church Farmers Market Returns in Yonkers for 2021

Open – Rain or Shine starting July 8th every Thursday from 7am-4pm

Yonkers Downtown Business Improvement District (YDBID) is delighted to announce the return of the St. John’s Church Farmers Market beginning on Thursday, July 8, 2021. The market will feature locally grown fresh and healthy food such as fruits and vegetables from farmers within New York State, a church run rummage sale, and other items from local vendors in and around the Yonkers community!

The weekly farmers market will run every Thursday from 7am-4pm beginning on July 8, 2021, through October 28, 2021. Located at Yonkers’ St. John’s Episcopal Church, 1 Hudson Street, this returning market will have fresh produce and goods each week, month, and season, so there will be something new to discover every time. Open rain or shine, this is a great opportunity to shop locally and support your neighbors in their businesses. This past year has been especially difficult for our farmers and small businesses, so it’s more important now than ever to shop and support them whenever possible.

“This farmers market is an incredible opportunity for our community to come together, purchase fresh produce, other foods, and home goods as well as demonstrate the support we have for each other,” said Sara Brody, Executive Director, Yonkers Downtown BID. “The small businesses have pushed through tough times, and now we can safely support them in a fun way once again. This farmers market will be an exciting return to the community with some new vendors added to enhance the market for Yonkers on the River!”

Some of the new and returning vendors that will be present at the farmers market include:

Now is the time for community members to take advantage of this opportunity to get locally sourced, quality goods at the weekly St. John’s Farmers Market. For more information visit YonkersDowntown.com or call (914) 969-6660.  Parking will NOT be available to shoppers in the church parking lot.
