Strategic Capital, the investment arm of China Construction America, this week hosted an exclusive ribbon-cutting ceremony for River Club at Hudson Park, its highly-anticipated luxury rental tower. The ceremony was attended by Ning Yuan, CCA chairman and president, and Strategic Capital chairman and CEO; Huang Ping, consul general of China in New York; and Yonkers Mayor Mike Spano.

Located at 63 Wells Ave., River Club is situated along the Hudson River waterfront in Yonkers’ thriving downtown neighborhood. Illustrating the transformation of the area and its increasing appeal as a living destination for New Yorkers, River Club is approximately 50 percent occupied after launching leasing at the end of 2018.

“River Club presented us with a unique opportunity – the City of Yonkers is in the midst of a massive transformation and the building’s waterfront location enabled us to ensure unprecedented views and a less-than-30-minute commute to Midtown Manhattan,” said Ning Yuan. “We set out to elevate the level of luxury in Westchester County and looking at the finished project now, and how it is resonating with residents, we couldn’t be prouder.”

The luxury rental tower signifies the fourth and final building in Strategic Capital’s 16-acre waterfront development Hudson Park.

“China Construction America’s investment in the River Club is a testament to the ongoing revitalization of our downtown and the return of our waterfront to our residents,” said Spano. “The addition of River Club to our housing stock provides high-quality living and convenience that continues to make Yonkers the place to live, work and play.”

Ping congratulated the City of Yonkers, China Construction America, and its partners on all the cooperation to make this project possible. “CCA is one of the best and they have been doing a lot of projects like River Club,” said Ping. “This project further demonstrated that by cooperating together we can create a win-win result. When we continue with our cooperation we can further grow this good relationship between China and the U.S.”

“We are excited to celebrate the opening of River Club in Westchester’s newest creative hub,” added Phillip Gesue, chief development officer of Strategic Capital. “This project is located in what is becoming one of the most desirable locations outside of New York City and is addressing the demand for new luxury homes among those looking to call Yonkers home.”

The tower’s 213 residences have been artfully designed by acclaimed architectural design firm JSA, which opted to infuse each with a sophisticated and contemporary design aesthetic. Ranging from studios to two-bedroom apartments, each light-filled home features white oak floors and floor-to-ceiling windows, allowing for an abundance of natural light, as well as breathtaking views of the Hudson River and New York City skyline.

A hallmark of the development, River Club at Hudson Park offers residents an extensive selection of best-in-class amenities. Perfect for fitness aficionados, River Club is outfitted with a state-of-the-art fitness center, as well as an indoor swimming pool overlooking the Hudson River. Those looking to socialize may enjoy the roof-level River Club Bar, which features expansive views of the Manhattan skyline and New Jersey Palisades.

A café is currently under construction nearby, at 1 Alexander St. Move-ins at River Club at Hudson Park are well underway. Pricing begins at $1,720 for studios, $2,190 for one-bedrooms, and $2,870 for two-bedrooms.
