Register for Westchester Cornhole Tournament

The cornhole craze is coming to Westchester! Registration is now open for the Westchester County Parks Cornhole Tournament to be held on Saturday, July 29, at 5 p.m. at Kensico Dam Plaza in Valhalla.

Westchester County Executive George Latimer said, “As one of our favorite lawn activities continues to grow as a social and competitive sport, we are thrilled to bring this first tournament to Westchester residents! The game is easy to learn and can be enjoyed by people of all ages and skill sets. I encourage residents take advantage of this great opportunity to spend time together outdoors.”

Westchester County Parks Commissioner, Kathy O’Connor said, “We are excited to offer tourney play to Westchester residents. The great lawn at Kensico Dam Plaza is the perfect setting to get your competitive game on or just play for fun.”

· Fun Social Doubles – Bring your own partner. Fees are $10 per person or $20 per team with double elimination. Winners will receive prizes.
· Competitive Doubles – Bring your own partner. Fees are $20 per person or $40 per team with double elimination. Winners will receive 50% cash payout and prizes.

Rain date is Sunday, July 30. Deadline for registration is Friday, July 14. The Cornhole Tournament is presented by Westchester County Parks and sponsored by Tompkins Excavation and its partners Sharc Creative and Ward Boards.
