Charged with Luring 14-Year-Old Girls to Give Him a Massage on Two Separate Occassions

On March 24, 2026, at approximately 11:30 a.m., members of the Peekskill Police Department Detective Division arrested Gennaro Trainello of Danbury, Connecticut, for endangering the welfare of a 14-year-old juvenile female.
Peekskill Police received two separate reports, one on March 06, 2026 and one on March 23, 2026 involving juvenile victims that detailed the following:
On March 06, Trainello, approached a 14-year-old juvenile female, on her way to school, in the area of James Street and Brown Street, asking her if she was interested in work, stating he would pay her for a massage. The juvenile declined and continued to school where she reported the incident to the Peekskill High School, School Resource Officer, which established the initial investigation.
On March 23, Trainello, is accused of approaching another 14-year-old female, on Howard Street, and in this incident Trainello reportedly convinced the victim to enter his vehicle with promises of paid work, and drove her to the Walgreens Pharmacy on Main Street where he parked in the area. According to the victim, after a brief discussion, she exited the vehicle onto Main Street and the suspect drove away.
On March 24, 2026, Trainello was arrested for Child Endangerment.
