Palisades Prep Hoops Goes 3 and 1

The Palisade Prep HS basketball team went 3-1 last week, with the week starting off with three games on the road. On Monday the boys lost 70-50 at Westlake. Yavw Cruz led the way scoring 26 points grabbing 10 rebounds and dishing out 5 assists. Isaiah Bray also had a double-double scoring 12 points and grabbing 10 rebounds.


The boys bounced back winning at Tuckahoe on Tuesday night, 67-57. Yave Cruz led all scores with 22 points, while also having 12 rebounds and 6 assists. Isaiah Bray had 16 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Senior Marvin Alexandre added a carer high 11 points.


Wednesday the boys traveled to Biondi (Leake & Watts) here in Yonkers. While leading by as much as 15 points the final score was 70-69 in favor of Palisade Prep. Once again Yave Cruz scored 26 points for the Phoenix while grabbing 7 rebounds and dishing out 5 assists. Isaiah Bray had 13 points and 12 rebounds and fellow senior Curtis Terry added 8 points.


Friday the boys hosted Biondi in their last game of the week. Despite the long week the boys pulled away winning 80-58. Yave Cruz had 26 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists. Isaiah Bray had 18 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists while collecting 8 steals. Curtis Terry added 11 points.
