Congrats to Palisades Prep boys’ basketball coach Sean Stahn and his team on winning  this year’s Yonkers City High School Championship.

On Dec. 7 at Saunders High School, the team defeated the Lancers of Lincoln H.S. 88-77. The stars of the game for Palisades Prep were Nokio Kennedy with 31 points, Isaiah Bray with 19 points and Isaiah DaSilva with 12 points.

“It feels great to win our city championship,” said Stahn. “It has been a goal since we first started workouts last March. The boys have been focused and have worked very hard for this achievement. Their goal is to bring home another trophy and banner. However, we’re not done, yet.”

To reach the championship game, the boys from Palisades Prep had to win two other games. Dec. 3 they defeated Saunders H.S. 71-55, and Dec. 4 they defeated Yonkers Montessori H.S. 69-62.
