Free Concert at 7:00 p.m. Saturday September 18, presented by the Untermyer Performing Arts Council!
The Untermyer Performing Arts Council will present Back to the Garden 1969 at 7 pm on September 18th at Untermyer Park; this will be an amazing trip back to the days of Woodstock and the Age of Aquarius! Untermyer Park is located at 945 North Broadway, Yonkers. This program was rescheduled from July because of rain.
Back to the Garden 1969, an outstanding group of versatile singers and musicians, have come together not only to celebrate the music of Woodstock, but also to celebrate the time of peace, love and music. BTTG 1969 not only recreates the classic rock we associate with Woodstock, they pay tribute to the artists who made Woodstock memorable, playing the music of Jimi Hendrix, Jefferson Airplane, Santana, Joe Cocker, Janis Joplin, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Sly and the Family Stone and more. This celebration of the era of peace and love is sure to be another “don’t miss” Untermyer Performing Arts Council event!
