Three Iona Preparatory School scholar-athletes committed to playing collegiate sports as part of the school year’s second National Signing Day on February 5, 2025.
The ESPN- style event held at the Tully Gym included remarks by Athletic Director Ryan Mahoney and other school dignitaries, with proud parents, teachers, and fellow students.

Paolo Ciatto, 18, New Fairfield, CT

Personal Accomplishments: Team has won the 4x Westchester County Championships 4 years in a row, 2x CHSAA State Champs, 4x CHSAA League Champs, 3x Westchester County Champion, 1x Catholic State Champ, 2023 NYS All State, 2025 3rd place Eastern States place finisher and just recently passed Sean Degl with his 143rd career victory to become the all-time winningest wrestler in Iona Prep History.

He also is an Indoor Track and Field winter all county 2022, Indoor Track and Field All County, All-State and All- American 2023, All-County Indoor 2024, Outdoor All County & All State in 2024. This season in football, Matt was 1st Team All County, First Team All-League and he was All State. Matt was named Defensive MVP.
