Mount Vernon Police Seek Suspect Following Overnight Shooting

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – June 3, 2026

At approximately 1:05 a.m., Mount Vernon Police responded to a report of a 25-year-old, male victim suffering from a gunshot wound in the 0 block of Gramatan Avenue. The victim was transported to a local hospital, where he is currently receiving treatment and in guarded condition.

The investigation remains active, and detectives are working to identify, locate, and arrest the suspect(s) responsible.
