Eastchester Supervisor Tony Colavita
On July 3, 2024, Moody’s Investors Services assigned the Town of Eastchester bond rating of Aaa. This rating applies to the new bond issue and any outstanding debt the Town currently has and is the highest rating that can be awarded by Moody’s.
The Aaa rating reflects the Town’s strong fiscal management and ample reserves and liquidity. The Town Supervisor and Town Comptroller have kept a tight rein on the Town’s finances during these challenging economic times. The stable outlook reflects expectation of continued strong operations given the Town of Eastchester’s prudent management.
Supervisor Anthony Colavita said, “We are very proud of our Moody’s Aaa rating in this inflationary period we are in. It’s difficult but we work hard to control spending and keep Eastchester an affordable place to live and raise a family”.
