Lions & Sedona Make Donation to Fuller Center for Housing of Greater NYC

The Larchmont Mamaroneck Lions partnered with Mamaroneck’s Sedona Taphouse Monday’s Dine Out for Charity in March in support of the Fuller Center for Housing of Greater NYC.


Every month on every Monday, Sedona donates $2 per steak lunch & dinners to a local service group or project. To encourage support they offer their $18 steak meal for only $10. In March Sedona raised $1180, which the Lions matched with $1000. With the full donation and auction and other donations, the total was over $5,000.

The Fuller Center for Housing of Greater NYC is a local affiliate of non-profit group based in New Rochelle that builds homes for underprivileged families, and responds to disaster relief, including Coronavirus needs, utilizing utilize volunteers and donated or discounted materials.


The Lions are again teaming up with Sedona in May with matching donations in support of STEM Co-op Summer Camp, in June for Cancer Support Team and in September for the area Girl Scouts.

The Larchmont Mamaroneck Lions focuses on supporting existing non-profit and community service groups by bringing community service leaders together to determine needs, solutions and resources. They are part of Lions Clubs International, the world’s largest service organization of over 1.5 million members. Its five core causes are eye-health, hunger, the environment, diabetes and childhood cancer and they are signatories of the United Nations resolutions on women’s and refugee rights.
