LEARN HOW TO ENHANCE OUTDOOR SPACES AT THE GREENSCAPE EXPO AT LASDON PARK &  ARBORETUM

Get inspired by Lasdon’s grounds and its panel of experts!

Celebrate the arrival of spring with a visit to Lasdon Park and Arboretum’s GreenScape Expo to learn a variety of ways to enhance outdoor spaces from industry experts, Saturday, April 5 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tickets are on sale now at LasdonPark.org.

County Executive Ken Jenkins said: “The GreenScape Expo will provide tremendous insight to those looking to transform their outdoor spaces. Participants will learn directly from industry professionals ways to care for their gardens to promote healthier plants, participate in flower arrangement demonstrations, how to deal with common pests and more.”

Attendees will have the opportunity to gain valuable insights from industry professionals; learn from live demonstrations and guided garden tours; browse diverse gardening supplies, outdoor décor and innovative landscape solutions all within the scenic grounds of Lasdon Park. Additionally, guests will be able to explore the lush tropical courtyard inside Lasdon’s Conservatory, browse and meet a diverse range of vendors and enjoy delicious options from local food trucks.

Commissioner of the Westchester County Department of Parks, Recreation and Conservation, Kathy O’Connor said: “Lasdon Park and Arboretum is the perfect location for the GreenScape Expo because of its stunning landscapes, diverse plant collections and well-maintained gardens, all of which serve as both inspiration and an ideal backdrop.”

Whether you’re planning a backyard transformation or simply love the outdoors, the GreenScape Expo has something for everyone. Tickets are available online only at LasdonPark.org and are $20 for adults, $15 for seniors, and children 14 and under are free.

The GreenScape Expo is hosted by the Friends of Lasdon Park and Arboretum and New York State Turf and Landscape Association. Rain date is Sunday, April 6.
