Lasdon Park to Host First Ever Movie Night, Abbott & Costello Meet Frankenstein Oct. 2

Grab a blanket, lawn chair and laugh your way into the Halloween spirit, Saturday, Oct. 2, at Lasdon Park and Arboretum’s first ever movie night to watch Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein (1948). Tickets go on sale Thursday, Sept. 30.


Westchester County Executive George Latimer said, “Halloween is a fun time of year for all ages and the classic film, Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein, is a fun way to bring residents together to get into the Halloween spirit.”
Commissioner of the Department of Parks, Recreation and Conservation Kathy O’Connor said: “Westchester County Parks loves hosting movie nights and we’re excited to host at Lasdon Park for the first time ever, with such a classic film.”


Come hungry as Walter’s Hot Dog truck will be on site for dinner and snacks for the whole family.


Tickets will be available to purchase online beginning Thursday, Sept. 30: https://www.lasdonpark.org/event/movie-night-at-lasdon/. Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for children. Admission and parking are free. Gates open at 6 p.m., movie starts at 7 p.m. Rain date is Saturday, Oct. 9.


Event is presented by the Friends of Lasdon Park and Arboretum and sponsored by Bedford Playhouse, home of the Clive Davis Arts Center.
