Hudson Valley Restaurant Week Kicks Off in Westchester

Westchester County Executive Ken Jenkins announced the arrival of the Spring 2025 Hudson Valley Restaurant Week (HVRW) at The Sailhouse in Tarrytown, which is a new addition to HVRW this year. From March 31 to April 13, 2025 diners will have the chance to experience the culinary creativity and fresh local ingredients from over 70 restaurants from all corners of Westchester.

Jenkins said: “Hudson Valley Restaurant Week is a favorite event here in Westchester. It’s a time when our vibrant culinary scene comes alive with creativity, community and flavor. Whether you’re a longtime local or visiting for the first time, I encourage everyone to make reservations, explore new menus, try unique outdoor dining experiences, and enjoy the best of what our region has to offer — it’s a great way to support the small businesses and dedicated restaurateurs who make Westchester such a delicious and dynamic place to live.”

Westchester County Tourism & Film Director Natasha Caputo said: “Spring is such a wonderful time to explore Westchester’s attractions and experience a delicious meal. We encourage both residents and visitors to make their reservations and get out and dine. The Sailhouse is a perfect example of what Hudson Valley Restaurant Week in Westchester is all about, offering a feast for the senses with its fresh, local ingredients, live music, and majestic sunsets.”

Situated alongside the Hudson River waterfront just a short walk from the Metro-North Railroad station, those at the kickoff got to sample The Sailhouse’s contemporary American customer favorites, which include their Lobster Roll, Braised Short Ribs, Crispy Fish Tacos and Tuna Crispy Rice.

After the kickoff, guests were invited to tour the nearby historic Tarrytown Lighthouse, located in Sleepy Hollow along the Riverwalk. Built in 1883, the sparkplug lighthouse underwent a full restoration and is a new tourist attraction – now both inside and out.

Westchester County Department of Parks, Recreation and Conservation Commissioner Kathy O’Connor said: “The Tarrytown Lighthouse reopened for tours this past fall after the completion of a years-long restoration capital project. The tours were in high-demand and were met with rave reviews from attendees. It truly is a one-of-a-kind gem in Westchester, and I encourage residents and visitors to sign up for the free tours when they return in April.”

Partner of The Sailhouse, Colleen Cingel said: “We’re thrilled to join Hudson Valley Restaurant Week for the first time and honored to host the kick-off event. This celebration is a great way to highlight Westchester’s culinary talent and support local businesses. We are also delighted to showcase our stunning new renovations. For us, Restaurant Week is all about community, and we’re proud to be part of it, especially being Westchester natives. With the warm weather upon us, we can’t wait to welcome guests to The Sailhouse for great food, refreshing cocktails and live music by the water—there’s nothing better than enjoying the season on the historic Hudson!”

Hudson Valley Magazine and Hudson Valley Table Associate PublisherLauren Buerger said: “Hudson Valley Restaurant Week highlights the bounty of culinary greatness our region has to offer. We’re excited to have a number of new restaurants joining us this year, making our Spring Hudson Valley Restaurant Week bigger and better than ever. We will continue to offer four different price points, giving diners a variety of options to choose from.”

Local ingredients and culinary creativity take center stage from March 31 to April 13, 2025, when the Hudson Valley will be celebrating restaurant dining with fresh, delicious fare. Prix-fixe lunches and dinners will be offered at $24.95, $29.95, $39.95 or $44.95. (Price does not include tax, beverages, or gratuity.) Prix-fixe menus may be offered for both dine-in and takeout.

Make sure to check out HVRW newcomers, among others: Inca & Guacho in White Plains, La Crémaillère in Bedford, Olibar Peruvian Cuisine in New Rochelle, and Scalini Osteria in Bronxville.
