Hudson River Museum Celebrates Black History Month

From the Hudson River Museum:

In celebration of #BlackHistoryMonth, pay tribute to your favorite Black icons from history and pop culture in “Family Art Workshop: Shining Legends,” offered Saturdays & Sundays from 1–4pm throughout February!

Create your own shining “vintage” postcard using printed images of Black historical figures, reflective decorative paper, and glitter glue. Visit the Hudson River Museum for an afternoon of family art-making! Recommended for ages 5+.

“Shining Legends” got a shout-out in Westchester Family Magazine round-up of best Black History Month events in Westchester. For the full list of events, check out http://westchesterfamily.com/black-history-month-events…/
