Halloween is Back, With a Curfew in Yonkers

After a one year, COVID hiatus. Halloween will be celebrated once again in Yonkers. Several events include programs from the Yonkers Public Library, the Hudson River Museum, the Downtown Waterfront BID, and more.

Yonkers Mayor Mike Spano announced that the Yonkers Police Department will issue a citywide curfew for children 16 years of age and younger on Halloween night – Sunday, October 31. “Halloween is a spooky holiday meant to be enjoyed by all, which is why we are taking a proactive approach in providing a safe, fun-filled night for our communities,” said Mayor Spano. “The City will impose its traditional late-night curfew on young people, and I ask that residents remain vigilant – Halloween is a holiday that is meant to be fun, but you can do so while being safe. Protect yourselves and others by making smart choices.”
