Free Tuesday Afternoon Movies for Guests 65+ in Pelham and Bronxville
The Picture House Regional Film Center is pleased to announce the return of Senior Cinema, offering free movies for guests ages 65 and older every Tuesday at 2:30 PM at The Picture House Pelham and Bronxville theaters. The 2026–27 season begins September 8 and runs through June 2027. Designed to make the shared moviegoing experience accessible to older adults in the community, Senior Cinema offers a diverse weekly lineup—from box-office favorites and acclaimed independent films to documentaries and international cinema—completely free of charge.
“Senior Cinema has become such a meaningful part of our community,” said Clayton Bushong, Executive Director of The Picture House Regional Film Center. “It gives older adults a reason to get out, connect with friends and neighbors,
and share an experience together. We love seeing our theaters become a gathering place every Tuesday afternoon.”
Admission is always free for guests 65+ on Tuesdays—simply pick up a ticket at the box office before the show. Those with an annual senior membership ($55 for ages 65+) receive additional benefits, including free popcorn at every visit and discounted tickets throughout the year.
Senior Cinema is proudly supported by Jupiter Peak Productions, New York State Assemblymember Amy Paulin, New York State Senator Nathalia Fernandez, NY-Presbyterian Westchester, Mount Sinai Doctors.
