Congratulations to Elena Olson, a senior at the Ursuline School, for being named a 2024 Con Edison Scholar Athlete of the week. Competing recently at the Section One Class A Championships, Elena continued her unbeaten streak in Section One as she won the 55m Hurdles for the third consecutive year!  Just an incredible performance as she insisted on competing even with a back injury!

Elena still remains #9 in the State in the hurdles. She won the 55m hurdles for the 3rd consecutive year establishing herself as one of the finest hurdlers in Westchester history.  It is extremely rare that an athlete has the ability to win the same event as a Sophomore-Junior-Senior. Elena is one of our Indoor Team Captains and will be a Captain this Spring.  She displays outstanding

leadership qualities!  At school she is a peer ministry leader, Eucharistic minister and has logged more than 200 hours of service!  Elena play soccer in the Fall and was this year’s Soccer Team Captain!
