Eaglefest Soars Again at Teatown Feb.

Teatown’s 18th Annual Hudson River EagleFest will be February 4, 5, and 6, 2022!

We look forward to celebrating together with bald eagles as they descend upon Hudson River during their annual winter migration. Join us for this amazing three-day festival, as we host in-person programs at Teatown, guided bird walks at Croton Point Park, and a series of engaging virtual presentations. The line-up of presenters includes:

• Christine Peyreigne, who became a falconer when she was just 16 years old and started hunting with her red-tailed hawk, Theron;

• Brian Bradley, one of the greatest lure falconers in the Northeast

• Anne Swaim returns to present her virtual and popular “Raptor for Rookies” program.

Teatown’s own birds of prey will also make their usual unforgettable appearances. The in-person programs will have limited capacities and will be held outdoors, so be prepared to dress warmly.

Snacks and hot beverages will be available for purchase in Teatown’s Visitor Center. Our Nature Store will be stocked with amazing “all about the birds” merchandise, including books, games, toys, and our exclusive, new-design Teatown EagleFest T-shirts. Please note that all programs and activities are subject to restrictions or cancellations due to health regulations.

Teatown follows all official guidelines regarding masks, capacity, and vaccination. Visit https://www.teatown.org/events/eaglefest/ for more info and to register.
