Congratulations Riverside High School Valedictorian, Salutatorian for 2022

Congratulations to the Riverside High School Valedictorian, Daniel Silva, and Salutatorian Giulia Capobianco, pictured above.

Silva graduated with a 98.4 GPA and completed 12 AP -college link courses. He is a YPIE Scholar, and was Nominated by Senate Majority Leader Andrea Stewart-Cousins to the 2022 U.S. Presidential Scholars Program for Career and Technical Education,. He was a IBM P-Tech Intern and enjoys Reading, watching movies and soccer. His favorite soccer players are Mo Salah and Luis Diaz, and his favorite soccer team is Liverpool. He enjoys challenging himself and plans to major in Computer Science.

Silva was accepted to Fordham University, Pace University, Iona College, Manhattan College, Mercy College, SUNY Purchase, CUNY Baruch, CUNY City College of New York, CUNY Hunter, CUNY Lehman, CUNY Queens College.

Salutatorian Giulia Capobianco graduated with a 95.25 GPA and completed 16 AP, College Link and PT Tech courses. She also was a YPIE Scholar and a member of Riverside’s Game Club, Anime Club, Cooking Club, Robotics Club, Drawing and Comic Club.

Giulia’s volunteer work included serving at CHOICE of New Rochelle Food Pantry during Thanksgiving week. She enjoys Programming/coding in Python, and enjoyed attending SUNY Westchester Community College, where she was a full-time student in her senior year of high school.

She plans to major in in Electrical Technology at WCC, where she will take a number of completed college credits with her.
