Celebrating Rev 250 in Yorktown at Peter Pratt’s Inn

From Yorktown Councilman Sergio Esposito:

Had a great time at Peter Pratt’s Inn celebrating Rev 250 and America’s 250th Anniversary! It was an incredible day mingling with George Washington, Revolutionary soldiers, and even getting a few pointers from Benjamin Franklin.

As we reflect on the American Revolution, we honor the courage, sacrifice, and determination that built this nation, and the many unsung heroes who helped shape our freedom.

More exciting events ahead!

📍 Friday, May 1st – 7 PM at Capellini Cultural Arts Center

Dr. Shirley Green presents “Revolutionary Blacks,” sharing the stories of the routes free African Americans walked during the Revolutionary era and speaking about her ancestors: The Frank Brothers

📍 Saturday, May 2nd – Battle of Pines Bridge

Kickoff at 10 AM at Veterans Memorial Circle, followed by a parade ending at the Pines Bridge Monument at Railroad Park. Living history and reenactments included!
