Yonkers restauranter Miltaiadis Theodoropoulos has been awarded the New York State Assembly Exemplary Citizen Award by Assemblyman Nader Sayegh for his commitment to his community and lifetime of illustrious service.
“The Hastings Center Diner and Homefield Deli are community institutions that provide classic diner and deli dishes, while showcasing the American Dream that you can come here to Yonkers as an immigrant, work hard, and succeed,” said Assemblyman Sayegh in presenting the award. Theodoropoulos is originally from Karpenisi, Greece.
Joining Assemblyman Sayegh for the presentation was longtime friend and Mercy College Adjunct Professor Dr. Alfred Liotta.
