Last week, New Rochelle Police made two arrests connected to the death of 15-year old Jonson Temaj. Temaj was found dead at a street corner.
Hugo Perez-Gabriel, 32, of New Rochelle, has been charged with Concealment of a Human Corpse (Class E Felony) and Endangering the Welfare of a Child (Class A Misdemeanor).
A 16-year old from New Rochelle was charged with Concealment of a Human Corpse (Class E Felony) and Possession of a Forged Instrument in the 2nd Degree (Class D Felony).
No bail for either person charged.
The Investigation revealed that these two individuals removed the deceased from a nearby residence and left him on the sidewalk. He was found without a shirt or shoes on when police arrived.
Temaj was a student at New Rochelle High School and came to the US from Guatemala two years ago. He was living with his uncle.
The cause of death for the deceased individual remains undetermined at this time. Detectives are awaiting toxicology reports to provide further insight into the circumstances surrounding this incident.
Temaj was found at the corner of Charles Street and Washington Avenue at 615 AM on February 6.
