Many other anti-semetic incidents across the country recorded by ADL were related to Kanye West, who made antisemetic statements last year. Graffitti that says Kanye Was Right, or “Ye is Right” was the most prevelant statement found.
Starting in January 2023, white supremacist Groypers launched a series of “Ye is right, change my mind” events on college campuses, where extremists peddle Holocaust denial and praise Hitler, all under the auspices of defending Ye’s antisemitic comments and outbursts. Two college events were held at Florida Atlantic University on Jan. 18, and at Florida State University on Jan. 26.
On April 29, a campaign to push back on anti-semetism was held across the country, with local governments naming this day “End Jew Hatred Day.”
Four members of the NYC Council were criticized for voting no on this resolution.
