Congressman George Latimer recently authored a letter to President Trump, calling on the White House to remove an arcade of strange games.
Rep. Latimer writes, “We write today with concern regarding the publication of a new White House arcade website, entitled Arcade.gov. At a time when the American people are rightfully concerned about rising costs on everyday goods like groceries and gas, it is troubling that the White House is attempting to use spinoffs of popular children’s games to promote its political agenda. As such, we urge you to immediately removen this website.
“On September 3, 2026, the White House announced the creation of Arcade.gov, a White House website designed to allow users to play games such as “Rio Run,” which allows users to act as border czar Tom Homan as he patrols along the U.S.-Mexico border, and “Build the Wall,” a knockoff of the game Tetris that allows users to “protect the border from the incoming horde.”
Another game entitled “Supply Line” allows players to “sort the school lunch to Make America Healthy Again.”
While the Tetris-style game was removed after the Tetris Company stated they were not involved in the creation of the “Build the Wall” game, and that it did not license or authorize the use of its brand or intellectual property for its development, other games remain active on the website.
The White House has said that these games are a way to highlight the successes of the second Trump Administration “in a way that resonates with every American.
