Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with an evening of stories, ideas, and conversation!
YPL, in partnership with The Writing Institute at Sarah Lawrence College, is bringing together three acclaimed Hispanic authors for a special evening in celebration of literature, culture, identity, and the power of storytelling.
Friday, October 16 | 6:30 – 8:30 PM Riverfront Library
The evening will feature a discussion with:
Alejandro Varela, award winning author of “Middle Spoon”
Melissa Rivero, award winning author of “Flores & Miss Paula”
Cleyvis Natera, award winning author of “The Grand Paloma Resort”
The discussion will be moderated by Westchester County Poet Laureate Phylisha Villanueva, bringing together these distinctive literary voices for a thoughtful and inspiring conversation.
Books will be available for purchase courtesy of Transom Bookshop so you can take home a new read and continue the celebration
