New Rochelle Police Arrest Yonkers Man with 27 Pounds of Marijuana

On Tuesday, September 8, 2025, at approximately 5:25 p.m., New Rochelle Police received a report of a suspicious vehicle parked on North Avenue. The vehicle, a black sedan, was found with a broken passenger-side window and a male leaning into the car. It was initially unclear
whether the vehicle had been forcibly entered or whether the individual was attempting to access his own vehicle.

Responding officers made contact with Joseph Fasce, 22 years of age of Yonkers, NY, who stated he was unsure how the window had been broken and produced documentation indicating the vehicle was a rental assigned to him. During the interaction, officers observed in plain view a substantial quantity of marijuana and concentrated cannabis packaging inside the vehicle. The amount visible was significantly above the legal possession limits.

Further investigation revealed that Fasce was in possession of approximately 23 pounds of concentrated cannabis and 4.5 pounds of marijuana. He was detained, stated the cannabis was for personal use, and subsequently arrested.
