Crestwood Library will be temporarily closing for renovations beginning Monday, August 17, 2026. We’re excited to make improvements to the branch, but we want to make sure you’re prepared for the closure—especially if you have library holds!
Have an item on hold for pickup at Crestwood?
Please update your pickup location before Monday, August 17 to make sure your materials are available at a convenient location.
To change holds location ONLINE:
Log into your library account.
Go to Your Account → Titles on Hold and update the pickup location for your pending holds.
If you plan to place new holds during the closure, go to Your Account → Your Preferences and change your preferred pickup branch to Will Library, Riverfront Library, or another convenient Westchester Library System location.
To change holds location over the PHONE:
Call the Will Library Reference Desk at (914) 457-1820 and ask to have your hold pickup location changed from Crestwood to the library of your choice.
Already have Crestwood materials checked out?
Due dates for materials checked out from Crestwood will be extended throughout the closure, so you don’t need to worry about returning them while the branch is closed.
