Credit Suisse Donates 60,000 Masks to St. Joseph’s Hospital

Doug Handler, Director of materials management, St. Joseph’s Medical Center, says thank you to Credit Suisse

With the City of Yonkers becoming the “Hot Spot” in Westchester County for the Coronavirus, the recent donation by Credit Suisse of 60,000 masks to Saint Joseph’s Medical Center as they battle the coronavirus epidemic was welcomed.
“Saint Joseph’s Medical Center is so grateful to Credit Suisse for this critically needed and most generous donation. It couldn’t have come at a better time as we begin to ramp up for the surge of patients we are expecting to see in the coming days and, like all other hospitals, we are short on this lifesaving protective gear,” said Michael J. Spicer, President and CEO of Saint Joseph’s Medical Center.
“As a standalone, safety net hospital, it’s harder to access these scarce supplies. We are so appreciative and relieved to see all the boxes of masks arrive,” said James Neuendorf, MD, Medical Director.
Individuals or companies interested in making a donation should contact Saint Joseph’s Medical Center’s External Affairs Department at 914-378-7535 or e-mail public.relations@saintjosephs.org. Once the donation is confirmed, arrangements can be made to pick up the donation.
Supplies being requested for donation are: Isolation Gowns, N95 Respirators, Earloop or Tie Masks, Hand Sanitizers,
Face Shields and Medical gloves.
