Currently scheduled to perform are dancers Sara Adams of New York City Ballet, Emily Cardea, Harrison Coll (also of New York City Ballet), Laura Kauffman, Nicholas Sipes, Tanya Trombly, and Craig Wasserman. “A more textured and fully realized work [that deepens] the original’s allure without losing its essential charm,” (Times Square Chronicles),the vivacious and virtuosic Mad About the Boy, revived for its 20th anniversary in an expanded version with several new movements during the Company’s 2026 spring season in the Grand Ballroom at Bohemian National Hall last month, follows a group of audacious guests as they vie for the spotlight (and each other’s affections) in an English supper club in the 1930s. Inspired by Robert Altman’s satirical masterpiece, Gosford Park, Mad About the Boy features the delightful songs of Ivor Novello, Noël Coward, Cole Porter, and others.
Tom Gold Dance will also present Mad About the Boy in the Rose Footprint Theatre on the grounds of Shakespeare & Company in Lenox, MA in the Berkshires, Saturday, August 8.
