McDonald’s Owner/Operator Chris Trefz hosted a Coffee with a Cop event at his restaurant at 155 South Broadway. The program connects police officers, Owner/Operators, and community members to discuss local matters and build mutually beneficial relationships.

Yonkers Police Commissioner, John Mueller, City Council Member Tasha Diaz, her Legislative Aide, Gabriella Naber, and Leslye Oquendo-Thomas, Legislative Aide to City Council Member Corazon, also attended the event. Officers engaged with employees and patrons in an open discussion about important community issues and enjoyed complimentary McCafé beverages. This event, which is part of McDonald’s ongoing effort to engage communities with McDonald’s restaurants in their area, is one of many Coffee with a Cop events that McDonald’s hosts in the New York Metro region every year.

Yonkers Police Commissioner, John Mueller, and the City of Yonkers Police Officers joined McDonald’s employees Sharon Rayo, McDonald’s People Development Manager, Norma Villanueva, General Manager, Marvin Sandavol, Supervisor, and Carmine Versace, Director of Operations, to speak with McDonald’s customers during the Coffee with a Cop event.

“McDonald’s is proud to partner with the Yonkers Police Department and local residents to discuss issues in our area,” said Carmine Versace, director of operations for McDonald’s Owner/Operator Chris Trefz. “As a local business, we are honored to host this event to cultivate relationships that will allow us to better serve our community. I look forward to working together in the future to further grow our relationship.”
