On Friday 4/24/2026 and Sunday 4/26/2026 the Eastchester Police department received complaints of an unknown male approaching and soliciting strangers for sex. On both occasions, the male approached adult females while he was driving a Black Hyundai Elantra with a N.Y. license plate LZE 1755.
The first incident occurred in the Bronxville Manor neighborhood and it is believed that he male had followed the complainant from a different location. The second incident occurred on Leewood Drive.
Our patrol officers and detectives began an investigation and the suspect was identified as CHRISTOS G. OOMMEN, D.O.B. 12/24/2005, a resident of Yonkers N.Y. During our investigation it was revealed that similar incidents had occurred in neighboring jurisdictions.
On Monday 4/27/2026 the suspect was apprehended and charged with two counts of stalking in the fourth degree. He is due to return to Eastchester Town Court on May 6th. We are asking the public to report any similar incidents with the defendant pictured below to their local police department.
