HISTORIC: Frank Jereis Raises Over $100K in Campaign Fundraiser for State Assembly Powered by Hundreds of Small Donations

Standing room only at Frank Jereis fundraiser

In front of a packed, standing-room-only crowd at Castle Royale in Yonkers, Frank Jereis held his first campaign fundraiser for State Assembly, joined by Democratic elected officials and leaders from organized labor.

Hundreds of supporters packed the venue, with many attendees even struggling to find parking as excitement around the campaign filled the room.

The campaign announced it raised over $100,000 at the fundraiser, powered largely by small-dollar donations from Yonkers residents. Those grassroots contributions also unlocked the campaign’s full public matching funds potential—totaling up to $350,000 for both the primary and general election.

The strong turnout and grassroots fundraising signal growing momentum behind Jereis’s campaign as it heads into the race for State Assembly. This is a historic and impressive fundraising haul for a first-time candidate in Westchester. “Our fundraising success shows the momentum we’re building and the groundswell of support in Yonkers. It’s humbling to see this enthusiasm for my candidacy and my vision to tackle the issues facing our community. We’re just getting started,” said Jereis.

Since launching his campaign, Jereis has built an impressive coalition of support, including County Executive Ken Jenkins; Mayor Mike Spano; State Senator Shelley Mayer; Assemblymember Nader Sayegh; Legislators Jose Alvarado, Shanae Williams, and David Tubiolo; AFSCME Local 1897; local Police, Firefighter, and Teamsters unions; and the unanimous support from the Yonkers Democratic Committee.
