“If there is anything we learned in the last couple of years, it’s that people of good conscience cannot stand aside while law breakers act with impunity; we must support the men and women who enforce our laws and place themselves in harm’s way. This isn’t just about a shooting event that remains to be investigated, rather the notion that it has somehow become ok and justified to challenge our local and federal officers and intervene in law enforcement operations. This is a failure of decades without civic education and weak leadership by so many elected officials.”
