Don’t forget! We’re starting 2026 with a new year of #HistoricalGames! Join us for our special “learn how to play” series all spring, starting next Saturday, January 3, 2026 at 1:00 PM with “Learn to Play Liar’s Dice!”
Dating back to 15th century Peru, Liar’s Dice is fast-paced game for two or more players. Brought to Europe by the Spanish, it became popular throughout Europe by the end of the 17th century. Using five dice and cups, Liar’s Dice can go as long as you keep bluffing! Can you fool your opponents into believing your bid?
We’ll also learn variations and other simple dice-based games from the past. Instruction begins at 1:00 PM. Bring a partner or make a new friend while you learn together.
This program is free and open to the public. No registration necessary. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
