CALLING ALL YONKERS STUDENTS IN GRADES 6-12! Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Poetry Contest
Submission Guidelines:
- Open to youth in grades 6-12 who reside or attend school in Yonkers.
- Individual submissions only (no group entries)
- Must reflect themes justice, courage and unity inspired by Dr. King’s legacy
- Deadline for submissions: Wednesday, December 19, 2025

Selected poets will receive the opportunity to connect with civic leaders, local artists, and peers during the showcase.
