Editor’s Note: Recent polling has shown that independent candidate Andrew Cuomo could beat Mamdani if they ran one on one. But Sliwa is the republican candidate for NYC Mayor, he will not be withdrawing from the race.
We also continue to receive Ask Andrew stories from a group called The Cuomo COVID Orphans. We will begin to print these stories in the coming weeks.
My family and I just went to Manhattan for a day in the city. It has been some time since our last visit. We walked through Central Park and around mid town with no incident. There was a massive police presence at Rockefeller Center and some homeless in the streets.
