Summer fun continues in September at two Westchester County pools!
Splash into September at Saxon Woods Pool in White Plains and Sprain Ridge Pool in Yonkers as the pools will be open for two weekends in September, Saturdays and Sundays, Sept. 6, 7, 13 and 14, weather permitting.
Westchester County Executive Ken Jenkins said: “Keeping Saxon Woods and Sprain Ridge Pools open for an additional two weekends will provide extended recreational opportunities for families looking to keep the summer spirit going. I’m excited to welcome residents back to make the most of these bonus weekends.”
Westchester County Parks Commissioner, Kathy O’Connor said: “We are thrilled to offer additional weekends at Saxon Woods and Sprain Ridge Pools to our residents and we are grateful to our staff and lifeguards for going the extra mile this September to keep the fun going and ensure a safe, enjoyable experience for everyone.”
The pools will be open from 11 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. each day. Proof of Westchester County residency is required; admission fees apply. Last entry is at 6 p.m.
Saxon Woods Pool is located at 1800 Mamaroneck Ave. in White Plains and Sprain Ridge Pool is located at 149 Jackson Ave. in Yonkers.
