Yorktown Lions Begin Summer Concerts

The annual Yorktown Lions Club Concert Series begins on June 29 with Crash My Party.

The outdoor events will be held on select Sundays at the Jack DeVito Veterans Memorial Park throughout the summer at 6 p.m., except for the August 24 Military Tribute Concert with Class Action, which begins at 5 p.m.

The Lions ask attendees to bring a non-perishable food item to each concert as a donation to local food pantries. The concerts will feature artisan vendors and food trucks.

“The Yorktown Lions Club serves our community by addressing humanitarian needs and encouraging peace. Their annual concert series is an opportunity for all of us to step out of our routines, meet our neighbors, and forge closer community bonds. I’m thankful to the Lions for their efforts,” said Supervisor Ed Lachterman.

This year’s lineup is:

  • June 29: Crash My Party—Luke Bryan Tribute
  • July 13: Stevie Mac—Stevie Nicks/Fleetwood Mac Tribute
  • July 27: Andrea and the Armenian Rug Riders
  • August 3: Dance Party Explosion
  • August 10: Sir Elton—Elton John Tribute
  • August 24: Military Tribute Concert with Class Action (Special guests Alyssa Martin and The Golden Apple Chorus starts at 5 p.m.)

The Jack DeVito Veterans Memorial Part is located at 208-264 Veterans Road in Yorktown Heights.
