Francesco “Frank” Sanzo passed away peacefully surrounded by family in NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital on Wednesday, December 27th in Bronxville, NY at the age of seventy-six.
Frank proceeds his wife, Bernice Sanzo, and survived by his two daughters, Lisa Nero Sanzo and Melissa Vesuvio (Frank Vesuvio); along with his four grandchildren, Frankie Vesuvio, Kayla Vesuvio, Madison Nero, and Gabrielle Nero. He proceeds siblings Maria Teresa Sanzo, Maria (Minica) Lanzallotto, Nicola Sanzo, Gregory Sanzo, Michelina Iozzo, Vincenzo Sanzo, and survived by Grace D’Alessio, Lucia Sanginiti, Tony Sanzo, Sal Sanzo, and Angela Sanzo.
Francesco was born on July 15th, 1947, in Calabria, Italy to Domenico and Concetta Sanzo. He married the love of his life, Bernice Sanzo in 1969. Frank was a hard worker, who was dedicated to his job even after becoming ill. He was very proud of his job with the Trump Organization, where he worked for over two decades. He loved his family and dedicated his life to support them in every way possible.
His family and friends will remember him as a passionate, hard-working, and the strongest man who cherished every minute of family time and supporting them in everything they do.
Frank was passionate about his family, and his job. He often enjoyed Sunday dinners with the whole family, loved traveling the world for work, and always had a thick Italian accent which blossomed countless one-liners that his family will carry on. Frank will forever be remembered as one of the toughest men on earth, enduring pain and suffering for over a decade and still fighting every day to see his family again. His strength will live on in the hearts of everyone who had the blessing of knowing Frank.
