Yonkers Residents Enjoy Renovations at Smith Park

Yonkers Mayor Mike Spano along with the Yonkers Department of Parks, Recreation & Conservation officially unveiled completed renovations at Smith Park, on August 22.

Renovations for the park include new play equipment, resurfaced basketball court, new safety surfacing, and the installation of a new flagpole.

Smith Park, located at the corner of Lake Avenue and Nepperhan Avenue, is one of 80+ neighborhood parks located throughout the City and one of three parks to be renovated this month.

City Council Majority Leader Tasha Diaz helped cut the ribbon for the official re-opening of Smith Park, which is located at the Corner of Lake and Nepperhan Avenues.
