Will US Virgin Islands Lawsuit Against Chase Bank Get Us Closer to the ID of the John Doe 8?

Who is John Doe 183?

The government of the US Virgin Islands has filed a lawsuit in the Southern District of NY against JP Moragn Chase Bank, accusing the financial institution of “turning a blind eye,” to the criminal, sexual activities of Jeffrey Epstein, and that banks “enabling” and “facilitating” of Epstein’s abuse.

Many of the sexual crime alleged against Epstein, and his friends, were performed on the small island known as Little St. James Island, which Epstein owned up until his death in 2019.

The Attorney General of US Virgin Islands Denise George accuses Chase of ‘knowingly providing and pulling the levers through which recruiters and victims were paid.’ The legal complaint argues that JP Morgan Chase should have known about the numerous financial transactions that the USVI claims were illegal, and that Chase should have uncovered during their required due dilligence and complaince with US money laundering laws, and that Chase failed to report Epstein’s numerous suspicious financial transactions.

The complaint alleges that Chase should have taken action after Epstein was convicted for soliciting a minor for sex in Palm Beach, Florida. Chase Bank, “was indispensable to the operation and concealment of the Epstein trafficking enterprise,” according to the filing.

The Virgin Islands lawsuit is similar to suits filed by Epstein victims against JP Morgan Chase and Deutche Bank, all making the same claim-that the banks profited illegally by not investigating the suspicious financial activity of Epstein and knew that the accounts were being used for trafficking because of the withdrawls of huge amounts of cash, by Epstein and his associated.

Little St. James Island was put up for sale for $125 Million by Epstein’s estate and was sold to an unidentifed buyer. The government of the Virgin Islands also settled with Epstein’s estate for $80 million, to recoup some of the millions they gave Epstein through economic grant programs.

On Dec. 30, both JP Morgan and Deutche Bank filed papers to dismiss the suits, claiming that they did not know about the sex trafficking, nor did they beneift financially from Epstein’s illegal criminal activity.

David Boies, one of the lawyers who filed suit on behalf of the victims, said, “We are disappointed in the banks’ continuing effort to avoid taking responsibility for their role in the expansion and perpetuation of Jeffrey Epstein’s sex trafficking ring.”

The public continues to demand to know the names of The John Doe 8, who participated and benefitted from Epstein’s sexual crimes on Little St. James Island. One posted on Facebook, “This is what might get some powerful names released. Probably of wealthy men in Florida and in any other state where Epstein owned one of his houses. They’re trying to get a paper trail and names as well as expose the bank.”

In Nov. of 2022, Federal Judge Loretta Preska ordered the release of some of the anonymous John Doe’s and their victims, but she kept secret the identify of John Doe 183, who according to the Judge, “That Doe’s relationship with Jeffrey Epstein has been a subject of intense media coverage, and Doe 183’s name has appeared in numerous places in unsealed portions of Ms. Maxwell’s criminal trial transcript. In the court’s view, there’s no reason to redact Doe 183 from the documents.”

One John Doe who is not well known had his name released by Judge Preska. His name is Thomas Pritzker, a hotel billionaire friend of Epstein.

Two victims whose names were released included Sarah Ransome, who wrote a book and has conducted interviews on the crimes committed by Epstein against her. The second is Emmy Tayler, who has filed suit against a journalist claiming they falsified her interactions with both Epstein and Gislaine Maxwell.

Earlier this year (2022) Judge Preska released the names of hedge fund manager Glenn Dubin and his wife Eva. The Dubin’s butler, Ronald Rizzo was also named.

But the big names have yet to come out. They are titans of Wall Street and Technology and Political leaders from the US and abroad.
