Yonkers, New York had a wonderful day on March 24-with the 63rd Yonkers St. Patrick’s Day Parade on McLean Avenue. The weather was great, the crowds were large, and the Grand Marshall, Ambassador Anne Anderson, presided over a large gathering of local schools, bands, pipers, and proud Irish-American organizations.
I had the honor of narrating the parade with Kathy Mayer on Facebook live and on the City of Yonkers public access channel. Below is a large clip of the parade, which was viewed by more than 8,000 across the country and in Ireland.
