Congratulations to the Yonkers Middle High School #ScienceOlympiad Team as they competed against 46 other teams in the Lower Hudson Valley Science Olympiad this past weekend at Byram Hills High School in Armonk. The students placed among the top five in detector building, disease detectives, geologic mapping, gravity vehicle and machines.
New York State Science Olympiad is a non-profit organization which seeks to engage and challenge students in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (“STEM”) through various levels of team-based competitive tournaments throughout New York State, and to increase Middle School and High School students interest and success in STEM education.
