On Monday January 18, 2021, members of the Yonkes Police Department’s Citizen Police Academy’s Alumi Association Executive Board were sworn it to continue their service to help the YPD with their interactions with the community and with programming like Coffee with a Cop.
The following members, Cruz Lopez (Vice President), Elizabeth Hemingway (President), Phil Foley (Sgt. At Arms), Caroll Claudio (Secretary) and Anthony Jakominic (Treasurer), were sworn in by Yonkers Police Chief Chris Sapienza.
The ceremony was held at the First Precinct on Grassy Sprain Road. Also honored were Migdalia Ramos and Doris Perkins for their dedication and service as the past President and Vice President.
