Youth Gun Violence Awareness Day -June 6-Yonkers Arts Gallery

The rise of gun violence among our youth has risen drastically—we are in a true crisis. Youth are taking over communities and using firearms as tools of destruction. Even in schools, children as young as six years old are getting possession of firearms, and innocent bystanders are frequently caught in the crossfire of stray bullets.

To confront this crisis, the Joseph Gabriel Foundation, in partnership with the Yonkers YWCA youth, will gather with the community on National Gun Violence Awareness Day to spread awareness and discuss real solutions to keep our families safe.

We invite the entire Yonkers community to stand up against gun violence with us.
