GROUPON is always a good source for local deals. PLAYLAND has a good deal reducing the cost of admission and rides. Lazy and don’t want to clean the apartment? COZYMAID comes to the rescue with half price house cleaning. DAVE AND BUSTERS is having a FLASH SALE AT all locations saving close to 50% on game tokens. Legoland NY AND Bowlero are both offering good deals, and stock up on all the back to schools needs with a discount BJ

GROUPON cuts the costs for a day trip to Dorney Park in Allentown putting you on all their rides and allowing you to enjoy the entertainment the park is known for. Groupon has a trampoline park they are  featuring not too far from WESTCHESTER.

I had a delicious dinner at Halal Guys on Central Park Avenue in Yonkers a week ago. Download their app and you get a free side and Drink. In the Highridge Shopping center a PARIS BAGUETTE will soon be coming. A great place for sandwiches, artisanal breads and luscious desserts and salads.

The Chick-Fil-A crush is still on. They just opened another one on Central Avenue North of the one in Yonkers. Not my favorite, haven’t had in years, but it’s in Yonkers so will try it again.

I notice Starbucks has been offering numerous summer BOGO and half off drink deals. Gotta have a registered card or the app to get them. The price of Starbucks drinks is so high you should take advantage of several of the specials they offer.

Make sure you have loyalty club cards for everywhere you eat and shop, and that you Google what you want to buy to see what discounts come up. Fast Food is no longer cheap, and the loyalty cards can save you money! Email me if you any other ideas or bargain deals so that I can share them with our readers.

I wish you a rest of the summer filled with beautiful weather and good times for you and your family.

Remember All offers subject to change at any time! Enjoy!

A SAD NOTE: WCBS 880 AM RADIO, a New York institution for close to 60 years will soon go off the air. That day, November 26 will be a sad day for radio and communication in New York. Make sure you support through advertising and supporting our advertisers newspapers like Yonkers Rising. The costs are very reasonable, and the benefits can be substantial and immediate. Feel free to email me and will get your advertising in the paper so you can see just how important this newspaper can be for your and your company. The question is what radio station now that WVOX and WCBS AM will be gone with your editor and this columnist listen to in the morning and during the day?
