New Retail 11,000 Square Foot Retail Store Opens on Central Park Avenue
Deputy Mayor Sue Gerry helps cut the ribbon for Wren Kitchen store in Yonkers
Wren Kitchens, the UK’s leading kitchen retailer, proudly announces the grand opening of its 14th retail store in the United States. On Friday 3rd May the Deputy Mayor Sue Gerry cut the ribbon and declared the 11,288 sq ft, hi-tech Yonkers retail store officially open.
Located on Central Park Avenue (no 2478), the Yonkers store marks the sixth Wren showroom in the New York state. The spacious retail store showcases 39 full kitchen displays, 5 vanity and 2 lounge cabinet displays. Additionally, visitors have the opportunity to explore the recently launched Weatherstrong outdoor kitchen range, which is showcased in four impressive configurations.

Designed with the customer in mind, the Yonkers showroom offers an inviting, family and pet-friendly atmosphere, where customers can bring their home-dreams to life. Featuring 10 dedicated VR suites, customers can immerse themselves in stunning, life-like 3-D animated renders of their future kitchen. This ensures confidence in design and layout choices before production begins.

Wren is a keen supporter of local communities and as part of their ‘giving back’ charity programme, the team at the new Yonkers store proudly donated $1,000 to the Yonkers Community Action Programme (YCAP). YCAP works locally to address the needs of low-income individuals and families by providing health, education and employment support. Don Brown, the Executive Director was at the grand opening to accept the donation on behalf of YCAP.
The Yonkers showroom is open for business from the 3rd of May, with opening hours from Monday to Saturday, 9:00 am to 8:00 pm, and Sunday from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm.
