Today, we remember the lives lost, the heroes who served, and the resilience that carried us forward as a nation. 24 years later, the memory remains.
In Yonkers, we especially remember Lt Roy McLaughlin, PO Anthony Maggiore, and PO Stanley Kasper, who all succumbed to illnesses that developed while assisting in recovery efforts at the World Trade Center site following the 9/11/2001 attacks.
